Autumn has only certain dull colour in stock. Weather will buy more colour during winter, for a big gala sale in SPRING!!!
I have some anomenoes that look just like this. It is that time of year. Good to hear from you.
I could add a photo of a similar looking cosmos
Mmmmmmm -oh dear Shirl – Persil to the rescue?
Yes, many of the colours in the garden are spoiled by wind or rain, even here; but many of the roses look as good as in spring. Christina
but when the bright sun shines on the late autumn colours they can still take your breath away!!
Hello again everyone, thanks for all your comments 🙂
B&K, I hear you there, there’s the bonus of winter wildlife watching too 🙂
Lisa, ah yes, I always like it that we share the same flower across the sea. Thanks, I’ve wanted to blog more.
Sue, oh yes… I bet it still looks pretty though 🙂
Anna, lol… when I posted this I did consider using that in the title. I’ve reflected somewhat since.
Christina, it’s hard to think your flowers ever get spoiled. Ah… your roses are special there 🙂
Gerry, I agree, I was too quick with that post for reasons you will read in my next post.
Glad you have dropped your robot test-I usually fail them, you might regret now, getting more comments from me.
Your very sad flower reflects how I feel today in the West Riding with the rain pelting down.
Hello again, Roger 🙂 Thanks, I’m glad you approve, I’ve had no feedback on this change. I hated dropping the Anonymous comments especially as my daughter who lives away from home would occasionally comment. Being truthful, I enjoy the robot test challenge 😉
I do apologise for not getting back to you via email or comments on your blog. This past while has been a difficult time and my PC has often remained unattended during evenings. I’ve picked up some of your posts on my phone and there are some I had wanted to give feedback on too. Hopefully, I’ll get time some evening time for a catch-up.
