What a lovely little plant. Can't remember ever seeing it before now. I must look out for that on my next visit to the garden centre.
Beautiful purple flower…does it bloom all summer? I'll see if I can find some seeds for next years flower garden. Beautiful garden spot!
I have massive amounts of Lily turf. Have moved all to an extra hidden bed 2-3 years ago. Still want them so they sit and happily spread.
You are border looks lovely.
Hello again to you all, thanks for popping by and leaving your comments. Sorry I’ve been so very slow to reply – I thought I had posted this 🙂
Lisa, thank-you – I’ve certainly have had fun planting this one over the years 🙂
John, it is a beauty isn’t it? I had never noticed it in garden centres until recently. I have admired a large planting on the edge of a Chinese Hillside garden at Edinburgh Botanical Gardens for many years. I have my own bit of the Botanics here now 🙂
Juliet, No, I don’t believe so. I see it more as a late season/winter flowering plant. I’ll be watching what it does with great interest 🙂
Patsi, mass plantings of this are great if you have the room – lucky you! I hope to lift and divide mine spreading it around here too 🙂
Sue, thank-you! It has changed many, many times over the years. I’m enjoying the way it is taking shape at the moment 🙂
