Lovely photos – I like the way you have grouped them
Beautiful photos! That deep red clematis is gorgeous!
You have some fabulous deep reds here. I will come back for a closer look later.
(I forgot it was Wordless Wednesday until about 8o’clock this evening!)

I love the way you collaged like colors together and you threw in a bird for us.
I love that collage! What a wonderful way to show your wonderful variety of blooms.

No words required … and your blooms are all lovely!
Gorgeous, Shirl! I love how you post your photos. What do you use for photo software. I really like it.
I love the Clematis. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful blooms Shirl. I too love the collages of photos. What a beautiful way to group and show your blooming things!
Hi there everyone:-D
Thank-you for all your kind comments. Iโm delighted you enjoyed the montages. I donโt use software Debbie, for you and anyone else who may have missed this post, you can see how I do them here ๐
Wordless Wednesday would usually be very tricky for me but this is a once off as I was short on time for this post – but didnโt want to miss it! There were stories behind each photo grouping including the one with the blackbird juvenile โ thereโs always one following me when I take photos in the garden!
You don’t need words when the pictures look this good, great selection Shirl.
Is that a Japanese Anemone forming buds already? Everthing is beautiful. I had trouble getting here this morning, so I’m visiting you from the library’s computer. I must say it makes the flowers look even better.
Shirl, Your garden, your blog, and your life in your garden continue to amaze me. And, I just read, and watched your video, of the little hedgehog. Precious!
Lovely photos, Shirl. Thanks for the link to your montage instructions, I think you’ve given me the solution to a bloggong project problem I’m having ๐
just lovely. I especially like the inclusion of the rose past its prime. The cycle of blooms is wonderful, tool. I love Borage. Mine is buszzing with bees. I loved the bird, here as well. That completes the whole picture.
A fine collage. I loved it.
Thanks for heading me in the right directions for your photo montage. I can’t want to try it.
A lovely combined post for both days! Thoroughly enjoyed your pics, and have fiollowed up your instructions on how to do the montage. Will have a go.
Wonderful blooms, your garden must be a wonderful place to be this time of year. Is it ever not?
Thanks for joining in for bloom day.

Hi there Mike, MMD, Barbeeโ, VP, Philip, Debbie, Sue and Carol ๐
Mikeโ Thank-you! You are too kind ๐ Iโve been having trouble with my auto focus points recently โ I must be working with different settings and need to change them back. I should stop tweaking ๐
MMD โ Yes, well observed! That was quite a surprise for me too. This is a young plant that I divided before I planted. Sorry you seem to be having such a bother seeing my pages and leaving messages. How great you finally managed ๐
Barbee – Thank-you, how kind of you to say! I am glad you enjoyed the hedgehogs too. I havenโt seen them visit much the last couple of months. I am trying the feeding station again and will get my night camera out again to see if they are passing through at all just now ๐
VP – Thank-you! You are most welcome. It does help with file sizes too. I hope they help ๐
Philip – Thank-you! Yes, I do like to mix all stages if I can especially with the montages. I can just imagine your borage. Mine is still quite small and only a few flowers are opening but my catmint is the plant that has been buzzing with bees. The penstemon too but it is always a surprise to see them at the tiny heuchera flowers. Ahโฆ there is always a blackbird out when I am walking with my camera. Iโm glad you enjoyed my collage ๐
Debbie – You are most welcome! Have fun with it ๐
Sue – Thank-you! Once again, you are most welcome and I hope you have fun with it too:-D
Carol – Thank-you, my front garden is particularly colourful with the many cuttings I took from my Penstemon. Stipa Gigantea with its golden oat flowers towering over is like the icing on the cake. Ahโฆ I forgot to add photos of that ๐ I always like to join in โ thanks to you I now have a record of my garden flowers throughout the year ๐
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then your beautiful bloom shots are worth ten times that many each! Your garden must be just gorgeous right now, Shirl.
These are ALL yours? They are absolutely fabulous! I, too, like your groupings.
Oh, these are just so fantastic, Shirl! I didn’t even bother with Bloom Day this month–it’s just gotten too big and I figure it’s time for some of the newer bloggers to have their turn with it. So I’m real glad to see your blooms.
Hi again Kim, Kim and Jodi ๐
Kim โ Wow โ thank-you!! My front garden especially has got a strong burst of colour at the moment. Surprise, surprise I spotted a black poppy in flower today there too โ how did it know I was adding dark colours this year!! I grew it from seed a few years ago with other colours and this seed must have come to the surface with a little recent digging in this area! I will save its seed now. Itโs great when that happens isnโt it? Enjoy the rest of your week ๐
Kim โ Thank-you! I am pleased with the colour at the moment which helps greatly when grouping the photos. Enjoy the rest of your week ๐
Jodi โ Thank-you! That is an interesting thought. I suppose, for me, I really enjoy doing these posts as a record for the garden and if Carol was to stop now I would still do them. I hear what you are saying though โ it is difficult to get time to browse them all and new blogs can be missed. It was nice to have you visit mine! Enjoy the rest of your week ๐
Jxgaust dropped by, nice to see your standards haven’t slipped.Nice montage
Hi again St ๐
Too kind, too kind! Thanks for popping by ๐
Wishing you a good week ๐
