Attracting birds to my garden by providing a variety of foods has allowed me to see birds I have never seen before. I began using my video camera to capture a Robin on film and my collection of videos has grown since then!
You can see all my garden bird videos in posts through my main diary archive and by selecting labels. However the species list below may be more helpful if you are searching for a particular video. Please note that some posts will contain more than one video so you may need to scroll down the post.
October 2011 Update: I see that I have missed updating a number of links to videos in my blog. I am in the process of doing this now starting with the most recent ones. Perhaps you might want to see the Sparrowhawk one – this male did look handsome.

What a fantastic collection of videos, shirl! I have not seen them all yet, only the ones since i’ve been following your blog…but i’m coming back to look at them all, and i’ll leave another comment then 🙂
I love the idea of yours to list your videos. I’m going to do that with mine, as I thought it would be interesting for everyone to see the changes in the Barleycorn garden throughout the year.
Hello again, Wildlife Gardener
Thank-you very much for your kind comments.
Yes, it was the videos of my visiting birds that brought my first visitors. In the early days when I didn’t post as frequently as I do now I would spend my time trying to make my blog easier to navigate so new visitors would find what they were looking for.
As I have said in my blog most of my visitors are not of the blogging world so are perhaps not as familiar with the format. Once I started getting gardening bloggers visit I felt I ought to use labels for them and also hoped that they in turn would perhaps browse my birding posts! I don’t think they have though.
I also chose to post my lists in reverse order so it was clear how recent the videos were and you will also notice that I changed the titles to descriptive ones again to help visitors find what they might be interested in. I am thoroughly enjoying it all.
It is nice to be back posting on the birds again – although with all the growth on my plants they are a bit trickier to see on the ground.
